John Ball is one of the most prolific marathon runners with Parkinson's in the world. Since turning 51 John has completed over 25 solo-marathons, numerous team events, and one thirty-one mile ultra-marathon in the high, dry Californian desert. He is also a motivational speaker at Parkinson's support groups up and down the west coast.

Yoshiko Okada is a physician and the head organizer of the 2nd Japan Parkinson Congress (JPC). 

She’s also had PD for 40 years.
